Its expertise covers flock management, extensively in animal breeding and genetics, animal welfare, carbon footprint in animal farms, and resilience in harsh conditions. The main objective of the farm is to maintain the Teleorman Black Head sheep, in extensive harsh conditions from the southern part of Romania (Teleorman county). The farm has experience in collaboration with research institutes in research and development projects. It will also contribute to the demonstration of best practices for improving heat stress resilience in the Future Farming Design Studios, along with dissemination and knowledge exchange
