About:

The Brittany Chambers of Agriculture are self-governing public bodies supporting farmers and rural development through strong local networks and technical expertise. They provide advisory services, training, and facilitate farmer groups across key areas such as livestock, crops, environment, and farm strategy. Actively engaged in national and European applied research projects, they collaborate with a wide range of partners to develop innovative agricultural solutions. They also promote knowledge transfer through events, demonstration farms, and technical activities. With 550 staff, 21 local branches, and extensive farmer engagement, they play a central role in driving sustainable and innovative agriculture in Brittany.

Role in the project:

The Brittany Chamber of Agriculture will supports the uptake of innovation by farmers, validate solutions on its experimental farms of Trévarez, and feed field needs back to project partners while contributing to policy recommendations and practical guidelines. It also organizes demonstrations and workshops to disseminate the main project results to farmers, advisers and decision-makers.
