About:
Innovation for Agriculture (IfA) is a Knowledge Exchange Organisation that connects farmers with farming research. We work with leading agricultural researchers, businesses, landowners, and farmers to develop the knowledge and technologies that will make modern farming more sustainable, resilient, and productive. Through practical and interactive workshops, farm walks, digital information and tools and on-farm demonstrations, we help farmers to put this knowledge into practice.
Role in the project:
IfA is leading WP1 aiming at assessing the current landscape of ruminant livestock systems to provide the foundational knowledge and contextual insights needed to guide the development of subsequent activities and interventions. It also leads the establishment and coordination of the Future Farming Design Studios (FFDSs) and is responsible for creating the project’s collaborative, multi-actor framework and coordinating knowledge exchange.
